I Do's on the Portland Spirit

I first met Forest, more years ago then I would like to count, in high school. Also I had the pleasure of photographing his sister's wedding. So I could not have been more excited when Bree-lyn emailed me about being their Portland wedding photographer, for their wedding cruise onboard the Portland Spirit (Portland Spirit). Not only was I honored that his family thought of me again for such a special event. But I was also so excited for Forest, he had found his other half.

Forest and Bree-lyn planned an intimate wedding package aboard the Portland spirit, complete with champagne brunch. Sunday, fun day, wedding day! The couple were the first ones on for their first look and a little solo wedding photography time before the were joined by their closest friends and family. Watching these two say I do surrounded by so much love and this beautiful city we call home was a lovely site to see and an honor to capture for them.

We would not have asked for a more beautiful July summer day for this wedding. With just the right amount of clouds to keep it from being too hot and once we got on the water it was absolutely perfect. We all enjoyed being carried along the Willamette River and seeing the sites while helping Forest and Bree-lyn them celebrate.
