I love touring wedding venues in the Willamette Valley and throughout Oregon! As a Portland wedding photographer, it's a great opportunity to get to know the venue before a wedding or learn about new wedding venues, plus then I get to share it with all of you. My recent explorations took me to BeckenRidge Vineyard in Dallas, OR to attend the Willamette Valley Wedding Professional monthly meeting.

Some History

The vineyard was one of the first vineyards in Oregon, planting it's first vines in 1976. That makes these sparring vines over 40 years old! You might be wondering how this lovely vineyard got it's name, while it's sounds very gran, it's roots might be simpler then you would guess. According to the current owners, the previous owners of the winery were named Becky and Ken Jacroux, there for the property became known as BeckKenRidge Vineyard. Ken began turning the rains over to the new operators in 2020.

Photo Highlights:

Of course the vineyard! But the property also has a lot of nooks and crannies containing, benches, arches, flowers and more. All perfect spots for taking wedding day portraits.

Other Cool Features:

The blue tooth sound system plays throughout the venue and in the getting ready suite, and inside the suite they have a dimmer for the volume, I thought that was so cool!
