I love touring wedding and event venues throughout Oregon and Washington! It's a great opportunity for me to get familiar with a venue before a wedding. And, I can share new, intimate and unique venues with all of you! My recent explorations took me to the Oregon Garden Resort in Silverton, OR where I took a tour with their Sales Manager, Lindi.

I came back for a brief second visit as the painted the fence around the Wedding Garden. I love how they are always making improvements.

Located in historic Silverton, Oregon, the Oregon Garden Resort. It’s just outside of Salem and less than an hour from Portland. The views around the property are nothing less then piquresk. Including the adjacent Oregon Garden and the rolling hills of the Willamette Valley, According to their website, the resort offers 103-rooms, with great options and special packages for girlfriends, couples, families and even the dog. Plus, they are a magnificent destination for meetings, weddings, and special events.

Photo Highlights:
The whole property is just beautiful! It has so many great nooks and crannies outside to take fun wedding photos. Plus inside, they have a huge fireplace just perfect for a romantic photo or two!
Other Cool Features:
Right next door is The Gordon House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright (a personal favorite of mine) and the Oregon Garden.
The hotel also offers some cool amenities including Fireside Lounge w/ live music, on-site Moonstone Spa, pet friendly rooms, seasonal pool/hot tub, electric car charging stations and complimentary breakfast at their restaurant. They also partner with the Cascade Foothills Winegrowers to offer overnight guests exclusive discounts to nearby wineries.
