I love touring wedding venues throughout Oregon and Washington! It's a great way for me to learn about a venue before a wedding. Plus, I can share new, upcoming, remodeled and unique venues with all of you! I'd love to introduce you to The Grand McMinnville in McMinnville, OR. Some History
The Grand McMinnville was previously known as the McMinnville Grand Ballroom. This historic venue was originally built in 1892 and opened for the McMinnville Ballroom Association, they held ballroom dances and classes. In the early 1920's the building was boarded up, the stairs were removed and it remained closed until it was bought in 1988. It was then fully restored and reopened in 2002. The floors are still the original fir wood floors, as are the interior pillars, brick and the beautiful bar. They are now open for events such as bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, elopements, and wedding ceremonies and receptions.
